About the position

The Sr. Actuarial Analyst position at CVS Health is focused on operational execution for the large group commercial rating engine. The role involves project management and support for system enhancements, collaborating with business partners, and ensuring the successful implementation of rating changes. The ideal candidate will utilize their technical skills to coordinate and implement improvements in the production environment, while also handling actuarial responsibilities related to rating methodology and regulatory inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Project manage and support system enhancements from beginning to end.
• Collaborate with business partners to plan and document project technical steps.
• Coordinate and implement rating changes to the production environment.
• Define specifications and documentation for rating methodology changes.
• Conduct testing and sign-off for ERNIE system enhancements.
• Create exhibits to demonstrate rating method results for regulatory and underwriting inquiries.
• Investigate historical pricing practices across national commercial large group business.
• Assess claim impact of benefit relativity changes.
• Provide Tier 2 technical support for underwriting and actuarial rating issues.
• Implement commercial actuarial rate reviews in ERNIE.
• Drive process improvement using SQL and Excel/VBA.

Requirements

• 3+ Actuarial exams passed and pursuing ASA designation.
• 2+ years actuarial work experience.
