About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst, Incentives at Waters Corporation plays a crucial role in supporting sales and service incentives for the Americas Field Operations Division. This position is integral to the design, execution, and reporting of incentive strategies, partnering closely with various departments to ensure accurate and timely payouts. The role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work collaboratively across functions to drive effective compensation plans that align with the company's growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the quarterly and annual incentives payouts, planning, and design process for the Americas, ensuring timely and accurate payouts
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Commercial Operations leadership to develop targets and quotas across various business, service, and product lines
  • Build and maintain sales compensation plan documents and related materials for plan participants
  • Provide analytical support for ad hoc research and other variable pay projects as identified by management
  • Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of sales incentive programs through analytics, and recommend alternate options as required to achieve program goals
  • Partner with HR, IT, and finance to ensure the right systems design, data availability, and analytics to monitor program effectiveness and report to leadership

Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in the sales compensation field in a structured corporate environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail; confident working with complex data and comfortable reconciling information to ensure a high level of accuracy and data integrity
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with cross functional teams (Sales, Commercial Leadership, HR, Legal, Finance) and influence, as well as build relationships with these teams
  • Proactive, organized and possesses excellent time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize and synthesize information quickly and effectively
  • Possess critical thinking and change management skills
  • Experience with PowerBI preferred
