The position is crucial for ensuring the success of the medical school through efficient fund management and adherence to budgetary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a Budget Analyst and coordinate work in the effective use of funds.
• Collaborate with financial and operational staff across various KSOM departments.
• Assist departments with financial analysis and budget preparation.
• Provide training to staff on budgetary processes and financial management.
• Work with the UNLV Budget office to ensure compliance with budgetary requirements.
• Track and report against KSOM budgets, communicating current financial positions.
• Ensure internal processes and controls are effective and in place.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• 5 years of related professional experience in budget analysis or finance.
