About the position

This hybrid role at Memorial Healthcare System involves providing critical information to managers and executives to enhance clinical, financial, and operational outcomes within service lines. The position requires creating reports, dashboards, and data extracts while collaborating with various teams to support strategic business decisions and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Create ad hoc reports, standard reports, and dashboards for various customers using established tools and data sources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand insights needed for managing and growing service lines.
  • Interpret and analyze data sets to identify trends and recommend cost savings or process improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain the quality and completeness of data in the data warehouse for healthcare service lines.
  • Collect and document reporting requirements for strategic initiatives and ad hoc requests.
  • Design and develop templates for reports and dashboards, ensuring compliance with branding standards.
  • Ensure sensitive data is displayed, delivered, and secured properly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Five years of work experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures, and developing reports or extracts using Microsoft BI tools including SSMS and SSRS.
  • Strong knowledge of database concepts and technologies, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Pyramid Analytics, or Power BI.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in healthcare analytics preferred.
  • Knowledge of EPSi preferred.
  • Must possess one of the following certifications: Certification in EPIC Clarity or Caboodle within eighteen months of starting the position.
