The Senior Analyst, Clinical Technology & Systems at Lifepoint Health plays a crucial role in implementing and supporting Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, specifically MEDITECH. This position focuses on enhancing clinical applications and workflows to improve patient outcomes across Lifepoint's healthcare delivery network. The analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective system functionality and user training, contributing to the overall mission of making communities healthier.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain principles for safe design and use of order sets, focusing on workflow design and evidence-based practices.
• Engage with hospitals to prepare for Promoting Interoperability attestation, ensuring effective processes and system functionality.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve issues to ensure appropriate resolutions and maintain open communication with stakeholders.
• Assist in developing and implementing necessary system training and support for end users.
• Provide input to identify system deficiencies and analyze problems and solutions.
• Coordinate installation of application changes, including maintenance/patches and software upgrades for core EHR applications.
• Identify and communicate system impacts related to application changes and enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in clinical or computer science, or relevant experience required.
• 5+ years of clinical system technology design, hands-on, and implementation experience, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
