About the position

As a Senior Analyst in Compensation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our compensation practices and ensuring that we attract and retain top-tier talent. This position is part of the Total Rewards team, which is dedicated to designing and implementing competitive compensation plans that align with our organizational goals. You will leverage data-driven insights to benchmark our compensation against industry standards and make informed decisions that enhance our total rewards program. In this role, you will collaborate closely with leaders across the organization to develop compelling compensation packages that reflect our commitment to excellence. You will be responsible for the strategic design and administration of our equity program, ensuring that our offerings are competitive and appealing to potential and current employees. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you utilize various data tools and systems to drive improvements in our bonus, merit increase, and promotion processes. As you grow in this position, you will gain expertise in various types of people data, including behavioral and operational data. You will have the opportunity to enhance your data communication and storytelling skills, which are essential for driving change within the organization. Additionally, you will learn about long-term incentives and have the chance to present complex information to senior leaders, honing your communication abilities in the process. Responsibilities

  • Benchmark globally using large data sets to ensure our compensation is always competitive relative to the market
  • Partner with hiring managers to create offers for candidates and close the top talent that Qualtrics attracts
  • Handle one-off compensation questions, projects, or situations
  • Own from start to finish creation of scalable solutions for recurring and ad hoc compensation needs
  • Partner with People and other teams on cross-functional projects and processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (HR, business, or other technical degree)
  • Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication with experience presenting and interacting with senior leaders
  • Skilled in making inferences and recommendations based on data sets
  • Compensation benchmarking experience

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience designing equity plans and employee stock purchasing plans (ESPPs)
  • Experience designing executive compensation plans
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Tableau (or similar data visualization) experience
