About the position

The Senior Analyst, Compensation is responsible for conducting comprehensive market research and analyzing salary data to provide strategic guidance for internal equity and external competitiveness in compensation practices. This role involves leveraging expertise in compensation analysis and proficiency in various tools to drive informed decision-making, ultimately contributing to the organization's compensation strategy and mission of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the collection and analysis of compensation data from various sources, including market surveys, benchmarking studies, and internal salary data.
  • Utilize advanced tools and methodologies to conduct in-depth analysis of compensation trends, competitive positioning, and pay equity considerations.
  • Partner with senior leadership to design and implement compensation programs, including base pay structures, incentive plans, and recognition programs.
  • Conduct complex job evaluations and provide expert guidance on job leveling and salary banding.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to establish competitive salary ranges for new hires, promotions, and internal transfers.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on compensation-related matters, providing guidance and support to HR colleagues and business leaders.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports, presentations, and executive summaries to communicate compensation analysis findings.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in compensation.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in compensation analysis or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with advanced compensation survey platforms such as MarketPay and HRIS systems like Workday.

Nice-to-haves

  • Relevant certification (e.g., CCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
