About the position

The Senior Analyst in Corporate Card Product Management at American Express will play a crucial role in analyzing the corporate payments landscape, providing insights to product managers, and managing key benefit programs. This position is designed for a proactive individual who can collaborate across teams to enhance the value proposition of Corporate Cards and drive P&L growth through data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Become a Corporate Payments industry expert by analyzing internal reporting/surveys and the external landscape to uncover themes, trends, and opportunity areas.
  • Deliver insights to Product Managers to enable data-driven decisions that will help drive P&L growth.
  • Identify key questions and hypotheses to prioritize research efforts.
  • Manage the shipping/courier Corporate rebates program, acting as the liaison with partners and designing marketing offers.
  • Develop, update, and manage Corporate Card content across channels to ensure appropriate representation of the value proposition.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure stakeholders understand the value of the Corporate Card program and assist with inquiries.
  • Assist with the PMO and thought leadership of strategic projects across the team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in product management, project management, or in the financial service industry.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across large cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical skills with comfort identifying key themes and insights from reporting.
  • Excellent project management, organization, and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
  • Positive, proactive, and a team player.
  • Curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
