About the position

The Senior Analyst, Customer Account (Amazon) at Nestlé Coffee Partners (NCP) is a pivotal role that focuses on enhancing the internal communication and data analytics to support the team's objectives. This position is responsible for conducting analytical sales work to achieve key annual business goals with Amazon. The analyst will capture specific sales data and provide supportive insights to track business performance, proactively offering recommendations to the Customer Team based on data-driven information. This includes responsibilities in forecasting, business planning, financial analysis, and process improvements to enhance business reporting. In this role, the Senior Analyst will lead analytics efforts by utilizing available tools and customizing data tracking to meet business needs. They will be responsible for compiling forecast updates and sharing key changes during the monthly customer forecast review in collaboration with the Customer Account Manager (CAM) and Director. A deep understanding of customer needs and priorities is essential, as the analyst will leverage data to provide proactive business recommendations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial, as the analyst will use both syndicated and shipment data to drive forecast updates and adjust forward-looking plans. The Senior Analyst will also maintain and update the customer sales plan to align with customer objectives while adhering to company guidelines. They will contribute key insights and trends specific to the customer, assisting in the development of In-Market Planning, Quarterly Business Review, and Monthly Business Review presentations, as well as any other requests from leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead analytics efforts by utilizing tools and customizing data tracking to support business needs.
  • Compile forecast updates and share key changes during the monthly customer forecast review in collaboration with the Customer Account Manager (CAM) and Director.
  • Understand customer needs and leverage data to provide proactive business recommendations.
  • Collaborate with CAM and Director in planning processes to identify strategic opportunities and align with business plans.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to leverage syndicated and shipment data for forecast updates and plan adjustments.
  • Maintain and update the customer sales plan to meet objectives while adhering to company guidelines.
  • Provide insights and trends specific to the customer for In-Market Planning and business review presentations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience with data analytics/systems, preferably with Amazon (Vendor Central, Stackline).
  • 3+ years experience in analyst roles within traditional CPG companies.
  • 3+ years experience with Sales forecast/Trade funds management (TPM) systems.
  • High proficiency in report building from raw data, converting database downloads to user-friendly formats.
  • Previous experience collaborating with Amazon is preferred.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree required.
