About the position

The Sr. Analyst, Data Intelligence at Publicis Digital Experience is a pivotal role focused on reporting and analyzing CRM marketing performance. This position requires a deep understanding of marketing analytic strategies and involves collaboration with a larger Analytics team to present, sell, and deliver results along with strategic recommendations to assigned clients. The Sr. Analyst will work closely with the Strategy and Analytics teams to translate complex business questions into actionable analytics and measurement requirements, which will guide deep dives and ad-hoc investigations. Additionally, the role involves close collaboration with data engineering teams to define measurement and dashboard specifications for effective implementation. In this role, the analyst will synthesize both quantitative and qualitative data into compelling narratives that answer critical business questions, facilitate decision-making, and provide strategic insights. The analyst will be responsible for thoroughly exploring unfamiliar datasets to identify significant trends and distributions, crafting hypotheses based on exploratory data analysis, and rigorously testing these hypotheses using various data sources. The position demands independent problem-solving skills, technical troubleshooting abilities, and a critical thinking approach to data analysis. As a subject matter expert in analytical tools and techniques, the Sr. Analyst will utilize advanced SQL and various analytics software packages to derive insights and drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into an easily understandable story, recommendation, or presentation
  • Craft a meaningful story around data that answers business questions, enables decision making, or provides strategic recommendations
  • Thoroughly explore unfamiliar data to identify major and minor trends as well as important distributions
  • Create hypotheses based on exploratory data analysis, independently evaluate if these hypotheses can be proven or disproven, and prove or disprove hypotheses using multiple data sources
  • Independently and methodically problem solve, troubleshoot technical issues, debug SQL, and think critically
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for analytical tools and techniques, including advanced SQL and analytics software packages.

Requirements

  • 4 or more years of marketing analytics experience
  • Demonstrated experience in statistical and econometric methods/analysis
  • Experience with advanced analytic techniques, such as multivariate regression analysis, predictive modeling, logistic regression, factor analysis, forecasting, response prediction, advertising effectiveness, consumer profiling, market mix and ROI measurement
  • Experience developing strategic analytic roadmaps and managing projects and teams to effectively deliver to client stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization and analytic dashboard development, experience with Tableau (preferred), Domo, Power BI, Shiny, GBQ or other platforms
  • Fluent in SQL (required), working knowledge of Python, R, SAS, SPSS, or any other advanced analytics tools (Plus)
  • Solid understanding of industry metrics: Media (e.g. impression, GRP, CPV, CPC, etc.), Measurement analytics, business measures (LTV, ROI, NPS, Effectiveness, etc.), Statistics (Correlations, statistical sample sizing, t-value VIF etc.)

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Python, R, SAS, SPSS, or other advanced analytics tools
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools beyond Tableau, such as Domo or Power BI
