About the position

As the Senior Analyst, Demand Planner at SC Johnson, you will be responsible for managing customer-specific inputs into near-term forecasts, collaborating closely with sales and cross-functional teams in marketing, finance, and supply chain. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of approximately 200-300 UPCs and developing forecasts based on various insights, making it a key driver in aligning consumer demand signals with supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead collaboration calls with key sales accounts to review and adjust the forecast based on customer inputs.
  • Act as a key player in the S&OE process to ensure short-term plans reflect changes and mitigate risk.
  • Participate in Step 1&2, collaborating with Design Planner to present customer-specific changes to forecast to senior commercial leadership teams for alignment.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of forecast error and identify corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years relevant Planning, Customer Supply Chain, or other Supply Chain related field.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to present recommendations concisely to cross-functional partners.
  • Quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills, linking root cause to action driving KPI improvement.
  • Ability to work with and deal in ambiguity; analyze existing data, make assumptions, and present business case for action.
  • 2+ years relevant Demand Planning / Forecasting background.
  • Strong cross-functional project management capabilities.
  • End to End Supply Chain knowledge and understanding.
