About the position

As a Senior Analyst in E-commerce Sales Operations at Dyson, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the annual and continuous planning processes by engaging with strategic retailers and collaborating with the Sales-National Accounts team to execute our Joint Business Plans (JBP). This position reports directly to the Sales Operations Senior Manager and is essential for ensuring that customer-specific needs and requirements are met while maintaining effective communication between the account and the company. Your primary focus will be to engage retail counterparts to optimize operational functions that drive revenue and margin for assigned strategic retail accounts. In this role, you will utilize Point of Sale (POS) trends and analysis to lead retail partners in regular collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment alignment meetings. You will develop sales forecasts that will be incorporated into internal Monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes. Additionally, you will leverage advanced inventory management techniques with retailers to optimize distribution center and fulfillment center level allocations, maximizing retailer inventory investment and Dyson sell-out by achieving retailer in-stock metrics. You will also be responsible for identifying action plans to address issues or activate against new opportunities by tracking all risks and opportunities using available insights and competitor knowledge. Working closely with National Account Managers, you will assist in maximizing available budgets to drive return on investment (ROI) and collaborate with Customer Service/Sales Operations to optimize purchase order changes targeting retail objectives for on-time, in-full, and invoice mismatch metrics. Your role will require you to develop and leverage strong partnerships with assigned National Account retailers across functional planning, forecasting, and inventory teams at those retailers across multiple categories. You will work with various teams, including Sales Directors, Channel Managers, and Category Business Units, to ensure all operational aspects of sales execution at assigned retailers are met. This includes collaborating with Demand & Supply Planning, Finance, Customer Service, and Logistics to achieve all retailer and internal efficiency and service metrics. As a member of the Dyson US organization, you will contribute actively to the team, support new opportunities, and challenge yourself and others to accept norms while striving for best practices. You will also be expected to think outside the box, identify opportunities for improvement, and fulfill other duties as necessary and assigned.
