About the position

ProSource360 Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the 711th Human Performance Wing (711 HPW) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. The 711 HPW is a pioneering organization focused on human-centric warfare, consolidating human performance research, education, and consultation under one umbrella. The Senior Analyst will play a crucial role in providing subject matter expertise to the USAFSAM Department of Aerospace Medicine, specifically within the Aerospace Medicine Studies and Analysis Division (FES) and the Operational Support Team (FESO). This team is dedicated to supporting Base Operational Support Teams in the field, overseeing program development, data analysis, education, training, and field consultative support. The FESO branch is tasked with supporting embedded medical providers by utilizing evidence-based practices and providing real-time data analytics dashboards that assess musculoskeletal and mental health risks at the squadron level. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for conducting data audits, evaluating programming effectiveness, and tracking programmatic measures of success. This position requires a strong analytical background to assist with various studies and analysis requirements within the FESO branch. Key responsibilities include performing statistical analyses of existing data sets, creating new datasets for analysis using SAS/EG, and developing credible statistical models to explore relationships between variables of interest to the Air Force. The Senior Analyst will also assist in drafting written communications for both internal and external stakeholders, participate in interdisciplinary planning and analysis, and provide conference support through active participation in professional events, preparation of presentations, and publication of peer-reviewed manuscripts. This role is essential for ensuring that the products of study meet expected standards and for documenting the processes and codes used for data access and review.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise to USAFSAM Department of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM/FE), Aerospace Medicine Studies and Analysis Division (FES), Operational Support Team (FESO).
  • Conduct data audits, research, and evaluation of programming effectiveness.
  • Perform statistical analysis of existing data sets and create datasets for statistical analysis in SAS/EG.
  • Scope and design projects, develop, monitor and report on timelines and milestones, and produce progress reports.
  • Assist in the creation of useful stratification methods for data analysis based on ICD codes or other criteria.
  • Develop credible, theoretically driven statistical models exploring relationships between variables in data sets.
  • Perform validation and verification protocols to ensure study products meet expected standards.
  • Draft written communication for internal and external purposes.
  • Participate as an expert in health statistics in interdisciplinary planning and analysis.
  • Use Air Force medical records systems and standards in job duties.
  • Collect data from various databases pursuant to agreements with database owners.
  • Establish relationships of available data to existing datasets and create a comprehensive data dictionary.
  • Provide conference support assistance, including preparation of posters and presentations, and publication of peer-reviewed manuscripts.
  • Brief study findings at appropriate meetings or forums as determined by the Government.
  • Document products for the actual computer code used for government personnel to access files.

Requirements
