The Senior Analyst - FP&A Investment Planning position at Avangrid is responsible for supporting the Capital Investment Planning processes across multiple regions including NY, CT, ME, and MA. This role involves managing, prioritizing, and reporting on capital investment plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be an agile thinker and problem solver, capable of collaborating with various teams to analyze and report on investment data.

Responsibilities

• Support Capital Investment Planning for AVANGRID Networks, including forecast development and variance analysis.
• Assist in the development of monthly governance packages, including rate base tracking and risk identification.
• Help define core business reporting procedures for timely and effective reporting.
• Support process improvement initiatives by analyzing business functions and evaluating system capabilities.
• Monitor control aspects of AVANGRID Networks Electric capital, ensuring timely project approvals and management of portfolio targets.
• Support regulatory reporting and inquiries related to capital investments, including variance analysis and annual plan reporting.
• Collaborate with investment planning group and other business areas to analyze and report on project investment data.

Requirements

• BS/BA Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field required.
• Three to five years of Finance, Reporting, Analytics or Business Management experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office products.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced degree or professional certification.
• Utility industry experience helpful, but not required.
