This role is a key member of the Marketing Finance team at Confluent, where the primary focus is on leveraging business data to provide insights into the organization's pipeline performance and optimize pipeline execution across go-to-market (GTM) strategies. The Senior Analyst will work closely with Field Sales, Marketing, and Partner organizations to model appropriate pipeline coverage and identify areas where pipeline generation is needed across various functions and tactics. This position requires a deep understanding of the go-to-market business functions to effectively bridge the gap between data analysis and business decision-making, ensuring that insights lead to actionable strategies for success. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for weekly reporting and insights on pipeline generation, progression, and coverage metrics. This includes utilizing pipeline progression and coverage insights to set global pipeline generation targets and developing an activity-based model to optimize pipeline generation across sales, customer success, marketing, product, and partner organizations. The role also involves creating a framework focused on enabling data-driven decisions and actionable insights, as well as fostering strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across Data Science, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Finance. A background in a growth-oriented global SaaS business is essential, with recent experience in a consumption-based model being highly desired. The position reports to the Senior Director of Marketing Finance and plays a crucial role in driving the company's data-driven decision-making processes.
