This role is a key member of the Marketing Finance team at Confluent, where the primary focus will be on leveraging business data to provide insights into the organization's pipeline performance and optimize pipeline execution across go-to-market (GTM) strategies. The Senior Analyst will work closely with Field Sales, Marketing, and Partner organizations to model appropriate pipeline coverage and identify areas where pipeline generation is needed across various functions and tactics. This position requires a deep understanding of the go-to-market business functions to effectively bridge the gap between data analysis and business decision-making, ensuring that insights lead to actionable strategies for success. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for weekly reporting and insights on pipeline generation, progression, and coverage metrics. This includes utilizing pipeline progression and coverage insights to set global pipeline generation targets. The role also involves developing an activity-based pipeline generation model to optimize efforts across sales, customer success, marketing, product, and partner organizations. Additionally, the analyst will create a framework focused on enabling data-driven decisions and actionable insights, fostering strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across Data Science, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Finance. A background in a growth-oriented global SaaS business is essential, with recent experience in a consumption-based model being highly desired. The position will report to the Senior Director of Marketing Finance, making it a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and operational efficiency of the marketing function.
