About the position

Patrick Industries, a leading solutions provider headquartered in Elkhart, Indiana, is seeking a Senior Analyst for its Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) department. This role is pivotal in overseeing, leading, and coordinating various financial functions including forecasting, industry analysis, financial management, and budgeting efforts. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for developing strategies to obtain and analyze industry statistics, creating impactful presentations on financial implications, and assisting in the preparation and consolidation of quarterly forecasts. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to communicate complex financial data effectively to support management decisions. In addition to industry analysis and forecasting, the Senior Analyst will play a crucial role in management reporting by consolidating and summarizing financial data to develop reports that aid in decision-making processes. The role also involves variance analysis, where the analyst will monitor the monthly financial results of Patrick's various business units and assess changes in industry conditions. Furthermore, the Senior Analyst will assist in preparing presentations for senior management, which may range from monthly financial reviews to materials for customer partnerships. Ad-hoc analysis will also be a key responsibility, providing support for immediate analytical requests and presentations as needed. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in FP&A or Data Analytics. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, excellent communication skills, and a self-motivated attitude are essential for success in this role. Experience with Power BI report writing is a plus, and a high level of personal integrity is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategy to obtain, research, analyze, and utilize industry statistics.
• Create and present content on the financial impact to the organization.
• Assist with the preparation and consolidation of quarterly forecasts.
• Consolidate, analyze and summarize financial data and develop reports to support management decisions.
• Monitor monthly financial results of Patrick's various business units and changes in industry conditions.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management, ranging from monthly financial reviews to customer partnership materials.
• Provide support to management for ad-hoc analytical requests and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field.
• 5+ years' experience working in FP&A, Data Analytics, or similar role.
• Strong Microsoft Excel aptitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey strategic and tactical messaging clearly and concisely.
• Self-motivated with a proven track record of prioritizing multiple projects under tight deadlines and working independently with limited oversight.
• Strong attention to detail and personal accountability.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• High level of personal integrity, including self-esteem, confidence, honesty, and respect.
