Advanced Materials and Catalyst Technologies specializes in silica supports and catalysts, enabling the development of innovative technologies for sustainable products. The Senior Analyst of Financial Planning & Analysis will analyze the Company's operational and financial data. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis. The Senior Analyst will execute data gathering, manipulation, summarization, and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual operational and financial data, develop senior leadership presentations, and assist in external financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze monthly data for actual results compared to budget, prior year and forecast.
  • Lead aspects of the annual budget and provide guidance to business teams.
  • Populate and review internal and external operational and financial data.
  • Develop expertise in financial reporting systems to improve business processes.
  • Assist operational management with understanding and managing business performance.
  • Own the cash flow management reporting and forecasting process.
  • Take responsibility for corporate analysis and functional decision support.
  • Manage quarterly and annual audit and tax requests.
  • Develop and implement FP&A best practices, procedures and processes.
  • Complete ad hoc projects as directed by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or another related quantitative discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in progressive finance or accounting roles.
  • Prior experience in corporate or business financial planning & analysis, public accounting or as a finance professional.
  • Public company or public audit experience preferred.
  • Advanced aptitude in problem solving and analytical framework structuring.
  • Ability to interface and communicate effectively with corporate management and other functions.
  • Sound understanding of accounting and US GAAP.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP and consolidation systems, especially SAP's BPC consolidation tool.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel for complex financial models.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze and modify processes in a complex environment.
  • Welcomes challenges in a growing company with a strategy for growth.
  • Possesses experience using professional concepts to resolve complex issues.
