About the position

FTI Consulting is seeking a mission-focused, strategic, and process-minded Senior Financial Analyst to enhance the company's global financial reporting and analysis function. This role involves significant experience in developing integrated management reports and providing meaningful analysis to support corporate financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with large data sets and analytical tools, contributing to the company's financial decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze corporate and business operating results to support the development of monthly reporting packages.
  • Produce monthly management reports for Executive Management and the Board of Directors, including preparation of financial information, key metrics, and variance analysis.
  • Support the company-wide annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes and maintain models for consolidation and presentation to Executive Management.
  • Provide financial data and reporting for press releases, quarterly scripts, 10K and 10Q reporting, investor presentations, and other external/public reporting.
  • Conduct headcount analysis as needed, coordinating with segment/regional teams.
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity of information systems (i.e., ERP) to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial and operational reports.
  • Work with large amounts of data to create models that depict trends and develop analytical frameworks to test operational and financial data.
  • Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis to support strategic initiatives.
  • Continuously improve the accuracy and speed of recurring reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance
  • 3+ years of post-graduate relevant experience in financial areas with concentration in financial analysis, particularly in a Corporate FP&A function.

  • MBA/CPA/CFA
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics software, such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience developing and delivering executive-level presentations
  • Experienced in budgeting and forecasting, development of variance and trend financial analysis
  • Experienced user of financial systems (e.g., TM1, Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, or other reporting tools)
  • Exposure to development of integrated management reporting
  • Exposure to US GAAP accounting and external reporting processes (10K's, 10Q's, etc.)
  • Experienced user of other Microsoft Office suite products (i.e., Word and PowerPoint)
