About the position

The Senior FP&A Analyst at FIFCO USA is responsible for analyzing the financial aspects of the Commercial and Contract business, focusing on monthly and yearly variances. This senior role involves preparing budgets and strategic forecasts, analyzing revenue, excise tax, price promotions, and costs, while collaborating with the Revenue Management and operations teams to enhance financial understanding and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and prepare monthly results, focusing on variances between Plan, Strategic Forecasts, and Prior Year (PY).
  • Lead the finance budget process, collaborating with various departments to maintain and build their Original budgets and strategic forecasts.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Fiscal Year budget and strategic forecasts to explain assumptions and variances.
  • Develop new tools and financial models to support analysis and reporting.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills to form working relationships across departments.
  • Identify budget gaps and recommend corrective actions based on strong analytical skills.
  • Prepare month-end reporting packages for the senior finance team in Rochester and FIFCO.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management on revenue planning and pricing/discounting initiatives.
  • Work with IT to upload the Fiscal Year plan and MYR numbers for a forecasted P&L.
  • Lead projects to ensure timely deliverables are met.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology for analysis and reporting.
  • Create financial models to illustrate the financial position of the company/brands at various levels.
  • Act as the Contract Financial Business Partner, providing full support on budgeting and high-level analysis with strategic recommendations.
  • Provide ad hoc financial and business decision support for revenue and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in Analysis, Financial Planning, Budgeting, and/or Forecasting.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality with key financial data.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, particularly Excel and other FIFCO USA systems.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
