About the position

The position is responsible for assisting in all aspects of fund management for cross asset credit offerings on the Carlyle Direct Lending platform. This role involves reviewing fund accounting records, coordinating with auditors, conducting data analysis for corporate accounting, and collaborating with various teams to execute deal closings. The individual will also assist in fundraising efforts, respond to investor inquiries, and manage fund treasury functionalities.

Responsibilities

  • Review fund accounting records and financial statements.
  • Coordinate with auditors and explain financial concepts and processes.
  • Conduct data analysis for corporate accounting needs.
  • Collaborate with deal teams, legal, and credit operations for deal closings.
  • Assist in creating marketing materials and due diligence responses during fundraising.
  • Respond to investor correspondence and inquiries.
  • Manage fund treasury functionality and deal pipeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Finance double major/minor preferred.
  • CPA and/or CFA preferred.
  • 4-5 years of related industry experience required.
  • Big 4 accounting firm background is a plus.
  • Strong educational background in accounting/finance.
  • Knowledge of the credit investment universe (CLOs, Term Loans, Revolvers).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team under strict deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; experience with accounting systems like Advent Geneva is a plus.
