About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Group Reporting to join our growing and dynamic Group Reporting & Financial Reporting team. The ideal candidate will oversee internal controls, assist in testing, monitoring, and evaluating internal control processes, and support the submission of financial information for corporate group reporting for RWECE. Additionally, the role involves assisting with the review and issuance of external unaudited and audited standalone financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or higher degree in Finance, Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
  • Internal controls certifications or CPA preferable
  • Experience working in internal controls and internal audit departments
  • Large corporate environment experience preferred
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds
  • Renewable energy, power industry, public accounting experience helpful
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office products - Excel required
  • Proficient knowledge in the use of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle helpful

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and assist in the design, testing, and monitoring of internal control processes to ensure compliance with organizational standards
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying potential weaknesses and recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency and risk management
  • Continuously assess risks and control activities, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements and recommending solutions to mitigate risks
  • Support the preparation and submission of financial information for corporate group reporting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with group reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams, internal and external auditors to support audit activities, providing necessary documentation and ensuring successful audit outcomes
  • Support local and group accounting with ad-hoc internal and external requests related to financial information, business/Merger & Acquisitions support
