About the position

The Senior Analyst role at S&P Global focuses on machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies, particularly their interdependencies with infrastructure, data, and analytics. The position is part of a team dedicated to generating insights that influence stakeholders across the technology ecosystem, including service providers and enterprises. The analyst will lead research on AI technologies, develop market-leading reports, and engage with clients to provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead insights on cutting-edge machine learning and AI technologies.
• Develop and curate a unique program of research analyzing AI and GenAI technologies.
• Create and maintain a program of market-leading written research.
• Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to produce vendor profiles and market trend reports.
• Take ownership of developing annual or semi-annual survey instruments.
• Advise clients on actionable insights relevant to their needs and interests on AI and GenAI.

Requirements

• 7-10 years as an industry analyst with expertise in AI strategies and/or enterprise software markets.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for technological advancements, especially around ML/AI.
• Highly external facing with experience in client engagement and public speaking.
• Excellent writing, analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Experience in managing an individual program of research.
