About the position

The Senior Analyst, Portfolio and Budget Optimization role at TXU Retail Services Company involves leading and analyzing business processes related to customer experience and operational efficiency within the Retail Energy sector. The position requires a strong focus on data integration, process improvement, and strategic analysis to enhance customer satisfaction and align business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain methodologies for ongoing accuracy and integration of processes.
  • Implement and manage effective change management processes for new or adapted processes.
  • Integrate and manage data from various systems including CIS, Siebel, SAP, and external sources.
  • Resolve reported issues in a timely manner or escalate as appropriate.
  • Analyze customer data to identify solutions for improving customer experience.
  • Assess and prioritize business proposals for operational viability and alignment with business objectives.
  • Apply statistical techniques for modeling, forecasting, and other complex analytical problems.
  • Develop relevant descriptive statistics related to business functions and customer segmentation.
  • Provide data expertise and original perspectives to internal/external teams.
  • Respond to business client inquiries regarding customer data and conduct research for insights.
  • Provide direction and guidance to Analysts.
  • Control budgetary spend for the function.
  • Participate in long-range strategic, operating, and business planning.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of related professional work experience in developing and analyzing large scale customer information systems or processes.
  • 3 years of experience with customer facing and project coordination/management methods.
  • Ability to present to all levels of leadership including Executive Management.
  • Excellent consulting, negotiating, consensus building, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Extensive communication and teamwork skills with internal and external customers.
  • Experience in facilitating/leading work groups, process teams, and focus groups.
  • Advanced skills in software applications such as MS Visio, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to develop and evaluate process flows.
  • Expert knowledge of related function technologies and methodologies, as well as financial model development and analysis.
