About the position

The Senior Analyst, Product Analytics at Match Group Americas, LLC is responsible for coordinating with product managers, marketing, and CRM teams to analyze large data sets and provide business insights that drive product initiatives from concept to market. This role involves leveraging various methodologies to customize test setups for experiments, analyzing financial data, and researching customer behavior to support enterprise-level initiatives. The analyst will also design questionnaires for market research and analyze customer reactions to pricing changes, all while working with multicurrency products and ensuring data-driven insights optimize growth.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with product managers, marketing, and CRM teams for A/B tests and product initiatives.
  • Leverage DOE methodologies to customize test setups for experiments.
  • Utilize tools like Hadoop, SQL, Python, R, Knime, Power BI, and Excel for data analysis.
  • Analyze financial data to identify gaps in revenue forecasts and suggest performance improvements.
  • Research customer behavior by analyzing relevant metrics and trends.
  • Study long-term trends in user behavior as new features are introduced.
  • Perform incremental analysis to assess the impact of new features on existing ones.
  • Design questionnaires for user market research and analyze results.
  • Analyze customer reactions to price changes and demographic impacts on behavior.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Business Administration, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 5 years of professional experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role involving data analysis.
  • 5 years of experience providing data wrangling services for downstream purposes.
  • 3 years of experience providing analytical insights in the consumer technology industry.
  • 3 years of experience with relational database systems (SQL Server) and distributed analytics technologies.
  • 3 years of experience utilizing advanced Excel and visualization tools.
  • 3 years of experience working cross-functionally with product, finance, marketing, and CRM teams.
  • 2 years of experience with experiment design and hypothesis testing.
  • 2 years of experience with time series and forecasting.
