About the position

The Senior Product Analyst at Fandom is a remote role focused on providing analytical support to the Product and Stakeholder teams. The position involves exploring user behavior, managing analytics backlogs, developing user archetypes, creating KPIs and dashboards, and analyzing A/B tests. The analyst will collaborate with various teams to share insights and drive data-informed decisions that enhance product offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively explore the 'why' behind user behavior, feature usage, and new product launch performance.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on Product teams to manage an analytics backlog and prioritize tasks based on potential impact on team OKRs.
  • Develop comprehensive user archetypes by analyzing content consumption, product feature usage, device type, and demographic data.
  • Create and monitor KPIs and dashboards to track product performance, including new product launches.
  • Analyze A/B and multivariate tests, advocating for proper experimental design and testing practices.
  • Craft engaging narratives about emerging trends in user base and traffic patterns for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Product Marketing, and other teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in analytics or a related field.
  • Proven ability to influence product roadmaps with data-driven insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL is essential.
  • Experience with dashboarding tools, particularly Tableau.
  • Understanding of A/B testing methodologies and statistical techniques such as t-tests, ANOVA, and correlation analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Python or R is preferred.
  • Experience working in scrum teams within an agile environment.
