About the position

The Senior Analyst, Product Analytics at Match Group Americas, LLC is responsible for coordinating with product managers, marketing, and CRM teams to analyze large data sets and provide business insights that drive product initiatives from concept to market. This role involves leveraging various methodologies for A/B testing, analyzing financial data, and researching customer behavior to support enterprise-level initiatives. The analyst will utilize tools such as SQL, Python, and Power BI to customize metrics and reporting templates, ensuring that the company can make informed decisions based on data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with product managers, marketing, and CRM teams for A/B tests and product initiatives.
  • Leverage DOE methodologies to customize test setups for experiments.
  • Utilize tools like Hadoop, SQL, Python, and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
  • Analyze financial data to identify gaps in revenue forecasts and suggest performance improvements.
  • Research customer behavior and analyze metrics to support enterprise-level initiatives.
  • Study long-term trends in user behavior and assess the impact of new features.
  • Design questionnaires for user market research and analyze results.
  • Analyze customer reactions to pricing changes and demographic impacts on behavior.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Business Administration, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 5 years of professional experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role involving data analysis.
  • 5 years of experience in data wrangling to deliver data-driven insights.
  • 3 years of experience providing analytical insights in the consumer technology industry.
  • 3 years of experience with relational database systems (SQL Server) and distributed analytics technologies.
  • 3 years of experience utilizing advanced Excel and visualization tools.
  • 3 years of experience working cross-functionally with product, finance, marketing, and CRM teams.
  • 2 years of experience with experiment design and hypothesis testing.
  • 2 years of experience with time series and forecasting.
