About the position

The Senior Analyst, Product Management at Horizon Next plays a crucial role in the Analytics team, focusing on the implementation and maintenance of analytical models that drive decision-making for clients. This position involves hands-on work with data inputs and model coding, ensuring high-quality data output, and proactively addressing reporting issues. The Senior Analyst will also mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements, making it a key role in the company's data-driven marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain Next Analytics models for Horizon Next clients
• Ensure existing model pipelines run smoothly and produce high-quality data
• Help strategy and client teams interpret model outputs
• Lead onboarding of new clients by gathering required data inputs
• Update models for existing clients to add new features or KPIs
• Identify opportunities to automate model onboarding and deployment
• Investigate model bugs or output issues that may arise
• Manage QA of model input and output
• Build processes to provide data to client teams for transparency and reporting
• Work with client teams to maintain QA files
• Troubleshoot issues with data ingestion and create tickets to address
• Work with manager to further develop models
• Build new solutions towards model reporting
• Mentor junior team members in their roles

Requirements

• Experience in a technical and coding-based role with data analysis and algorithms
• Hands-on experience with modeling code and raw/messy data
• Strong understanding of SQL for complex data transformations
• Experience using Python for data analysis and pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses like AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using dbt
• Familiarity with Git and Tableau
• Experience in the media/advertising/ad-tech industries
