About the position
The position is responsible for collecting, summarizing, and analyzing data to support strategic planning and program development within Pharmacy & Retail Operations. The role involves managing complex projects, providing insights through reports and dashboards, and collaborating with various teams to enhance operational processes. The analyst will also mentor junior team members and ensure effective communication of project information to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collect and summarize data to assist management in strategic planning and program development.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of business processes in Pharmacy & Retail Operations.
- Provide complex analysis to build business cases for system and operational changes.
- Serve as the operational point of contact for various projects to drive execution.
- Communicate project information to stakeholders in both corporate and field settings.
- Collect, analyze, and present recommendations for proposed programs to meet business goals.
- Manage complex ad-hoc projects and analyses as needed.
- Plan, design, and deploy reports and tools for operational use.
- Collaborate with IT, legal, regulatory, and process improvement teams to develop solutions.
- Coach and mentor less senior Business Analysts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 1 year of experience in data analysis and reporting; OR, High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
- At least 1 year of experience querying databases (e.g., SQL, Golden, Business Objects, EDW, SAS, SQL Server).
- Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending strategies for resolution.
- Experience communicating business analysis results to leaders.
- Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
