At GXO Logistics, the Senior Analyst in Sales Operations plays a critical role in supporting the sales team and optimizing sales processes to drive revenue growth. This position involves analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and providing insights to improve sales performance and efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing sales data, including pipeline, performance metrics, and forecasts, to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. You will assist in the development of sales forecasts and annual operating plans based on historical performance, market trends, and business goals. Additionally, you will generate regular and ad-hoc sales reports for management, providing insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies. Your responsibilities will also include identifying opportunities to streamline sales processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the sales organization. You will define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team, monitoring performance against targets and benchmarks. Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and threats will also be part of your duties. This position is essential for driving the success of the sales team and contributing to the overall growth of GXO Logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales data, including pipeline, performance metrics, and forecasts, to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the development of sales forecasts and annual operating plans based on historical performance, market trends, and business goals.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc sales reports for management, providing insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline sales processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the sales organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2 years of professional experience in Sales Operations or similar roles
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, Salesforce, or PowerBI
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
