About the position

The Senior Analyst, Sales Reporting and Analytics role at WM involves providing advanced business support, analysis, and insights to the Revenue Management Organization. This hybrid position is based in Houston, requiring three days in the office and two days of remote work. The analyst will prepare reports, develop revenue forecasting models, and collaborate with various departments to enhance productivity and support sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepares reporting and insights for Revenue Management leadership to support sales force effectiveness initiatives.
• Facilitates education and training on reporting and business analytics.
• Develops revenue forecasting models using data from CRM, billing, and other systems.
• Identifies and solves sales process challenges through performance metrics analysis.
• Manages large amounts of data and develops data integrity audit processes.
• Partners with cross-functional business partners to identify productivity opportunities.
• Directs and conducts special and ad hoc information requests, reporting findings to market areas and corporate office.
• Creates standardized and custom reports based on scheduled and on-demand requests.
• Prepares analysis on rates of return, depreciation, working capital, and financial performance comparisons.
• Manages special projects as requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Sales, Operations, or similar area of study, or a High School Diploma/GED with four years of relevant work experience.
• Six years of previous relevant experience in Finance, Sales, or Business Operations.
• Excellent understanding of standard business practices related to Sales Operations processes and systems.
• Six+ years of progressive analytical experience in Finance, Sales, or Business Operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with excellent modeling skills.
• Ability to work with large complex datasets and database structures.

• Prior experience with SQL, Snowflake, and PowerBI.
