About the position

The Sr. Salesforce Business Analyst at Ingredion will lead high-value projects related to Salesforce within an agile development environment. This role focuses on improving sales productivity and effectiveness through automation, process improvement, user experience, and analytics. The analyst will evaluate enhancement requests, gather requirements, develop product roadmaps, and oversee testing and change management activities. The position requires a deep understanding of Ingredion's business environment and Salesforce utilization to align with business objectives and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for driving sales productivity and effectiveness through technology, data, and process improvement.
  • Manage the product roadmap, prioritization, release planning, and delivery of key features for business processes and technologies.
  • Oversee requirements gathering, research, testing, deployment, documentation, training, communication, and user enablement.
  • Manage, track, and ensure timely resolution of risks, blockers, issues, and bugs.
  • Review, test, and measure business impact of CRM enhancements to ensure they provide business value and deliver expected ROI.
  • Develop test cases and user acceptance testing (UAT) plans.
  • Develop best practices for and oversee business user acceptance testing.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and evaluate new features and solutions as required.
  • Develop training materials and facilitate end user training sessions on the Salesforce.com application.
  • Measure and report on performance, achievements, and outcomes.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams addressing strategic business issues involving CRM.
  • Partner with Salesforce and other vendor Customer Success management teams to drive engagement, adoption, and utilization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of increasing responsibility in business analysis, product management, data analysis, system administration, solution architecture, or business intelligence.
  • Salesforce certification is highly desired (e.g., Admin, Advanced Admin, Sales Cloud Consultant).
  • Deep Salesforce expertise or experience with other CRM platforms, including system administration and user setup.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP system preferred.
  • Experience in leading and managing complex projects with corresponding change management.
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and solve complex problems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in a B2B environment and/or the manufacturing industry, preferably within food, nutritional, or specialty chemical industries.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively across functions and cultures.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
