About the position

The Senior Analyst SCM Operations at Trinity Health is a pivotal role responsible for the data capture, analysis, and reporting of information to assist the leadership team in achieving operational efficiency. This position involves auditing departmental information, producing comprehensive reports, and suggesting improvements to existing processes. The Senior Analyst will provide knowledge and expertise in various programs, services, and applications, while also leading small project teams and mentoring Supply Chain Management (SCM) Analysts. In this role, the analyst will focus on researching, collecting, and analyzing information to identify opportunities for improvement. They will develop solutions and lead initiatives to enhance program efficiency and patient experience. The position requires collaboration on performance improvement activities, ensuring that analytical reports are distributed effectively. The analyst will utilize multiple system applications to perform analyses, create reports, and develop educational materials, all while adhering to Trinity Health's policies and practices to ensure quality, confidentiality, and safety. The Senior Analyst will synthesize and analyze data, providing detailed summaries that include graphical presentations illustrating trends and recommending practical options or solutions. This role also involves maintaining a working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as Trinity Health's Integrity and Compliance Program. The analyst will be expected to demonstrate safe, honest, ethical, and professional behavior in all aspects of their work.

Responsibilities

  • Research, collect, and analyze information to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop solutions and lead initiatives to enhance program efficiency and patient experience.
  • Collaborate on performance improvement activities based on outcomes in program efficiency and patient experience.
  • Distribute analytical reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Utilize multiple system applications to perform analysis, create reports, and develop educational materials.
  • Synthesize and analyze data, providing detailed summaries and graphical presentations illustrating trends.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable laws and regulations to ensure adherence to safe and ethical practices.
  • Lead small project teams and mentor SCM Analysts.
  • Initiate and oversee new inventory management projects and audit compliance.
  • Train senior ministry leadership on key performance indicators and maintain standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, informatics, or healthcare.
  • Five to seven years of progressively responsible data analytics and reporting experience.
  • Three years of experience with at least one analytical tool such as ERP (Peoplesoft), DMS/WMS (Techsys), Access, Visio, OBI, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Data analytics and reporting experience in supply chain areas such as inventory and distribution, sourcing, procurement informatics, or value analysis.
