About the position

The Senior Analyst, Security Operations position is part of the Court Order Compliance Team within the Verizon Security Assistance Team (VSAT), which operates 24/7 to ensure the safety and security of Verizon employees and customer information. The role involves responding to court orders and life-threatening situations, managing cases, and providing support to law enforcement while maintaining compliance with legal and company procedures. The position requires strong decision-making skills, the ability to multi-task under pressure, and effective communication with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with law enforcement regarding life-threatening situations 24/7 by answering calls and authenticating the caller to provide necessary customer records.
  • Demonstrating the ability to multi-task and make sound decisions under high-pressure situations.
  • Ensuring all cases are documented and managed in compliance with applicable laws and company procedures, including responding to court orders and search warrants.
  • Understanding and navigating multiple network systems to track and respond to emergency situations and court orders.
  • Making sound decisions on when to escalate matters to management for optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborating with departments such as Network, Security, and Legal to provide guidance on the release of company records.
  • Providing feedback to leadership on call handling and operational gaps to drive quality improvement.
  • Facilitating educational presentations for law enforcement agencies to support public safety initiatives.
  • Adapting to rapid changes in technology and testing new enhancements for effectiveness and reliability.
  • Managing workload effectively to complete high-priority tasks within compliance guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in wireless, legal, customer service, or technical support.
  • Ability to obtain National Security Clearance and adhere to ongoing requirements for cleared status.
  • Willingness to work an in-office schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency with Verizon Wireless billing systems and MARS.
  • Knowledge of Verizon Wireless Network and call processing.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
