About the position

Nestlé USA is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead the design and implementation of comprehensive Analytics solutions across all Supply Chain functions. This role is pivotal in collaborating with various teams to create solutions that deliver strategic and operational insights to a large user base. The Senior Analyst will not only focus on meeting business needs but will also have the opportunity to develop functional expertise in Supply Chain operations within a complex organization and gain insights into the consumer packaged goods industry. This position offers a unique chance to grow professionally by applying technical Analytics skills, leading projects, and managing individual workloads effectively. In this role, the Senior Analyst will be responsible for building Analytics or Business Intelligence solutions from the ground up, working cross-functionally to ensure that the solutions are user-friendly and impactful. The analyst will leverage both existing and new technologies to provide insights that aid strategic and operational decision-making for a diverse stakeholder group. A key aspect of the job will involve gathering and interpreting complex requirements to enhance reporting and communication of information. The analyst will also analyze large datasets that include historical and forecast data, manage proof of concepts, pilots, special projects, and ad-hoc requests, and collaborate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will be tasked with establishing recommendations for senior leaders and developing presentations to effectively communicate solutions and project status updates. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about using data to drive decisions and improve processes within the Supply Chain domain.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and work cross-functionally with others to build Analytics or Business Intelligence solutions from concept to design to development to release.
  • Leverage existing and new technologies to provide insights for strategic and operational decision making by a large stakeholder group.
  • Gather and decipher complex requirements to develop more user friendly and impactful ways of reporting and communicating information.
  • Analyze large data sources containing historical and forecast data.
  • Lead and manage proof of concepts, pilots, special projects, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Collaborate with a large stakeholder group throughout the lifecycle of projects. Work together towards mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Establish recommendations to senior leaders and develop presentations to communicate solutions and status updates.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the job offered or as an Analyst.
  • Or a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the job offered or as an Analyst.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, with intermediate-to-advanced level data visualization skills preferred.
  • Experience with data modeling or programming languages such as SQL, R, and/or Python, with intermediate-to-advanced level modeling or programming skills preferred.
  • Experience with data warehouses or data lakes such as Azure, Databricks, and/or Synapse.
  • Experience providing Analytics and/or Business Intelligence solutions in a medium-to-large organization, with experience in a complex organization highly desired.
  • Experience working within a Supply Chain function with a focus on planning, transport, warehousing, or fulfillment preferred.
  • Experience working in the consumer packaged goods industry is a plus.
