About the position

The Senior Analyst - Tech Risk Management at Ally Financial is responsible for implementing components of the IT risk management program and conducting risk reporting for the Information Protection Risk Management team. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to perform technology risk assessments and lead the Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA) program efforts, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage IT Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA) program assessments, Application assessments, and risk documentation efforts.
  • Consult with various IT business partners to complete RCSA and Application assessments.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) related to IT risk requirements and RCSA program requirements.
  • Develop and present risk reports to business partners and senior management via risk routines.
  • Prepare materials for Enterprise IT Risk routines and Business Risk Forums.
  • Coordinate the resolution of open control issues for Information Technology RCSA trigger events.
  • Lead risk project and process improvement efforts for Information Protection Risk Management (IPRM).
  • Partner and collaborate with Enterprise Risk, Compliance, and Information Security teams to ensure alignment of controls and issues.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of IT, Risk Management or related experience.
  • 2+ years of IT Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA) experience.
  • CISA, CISSP, CISM, or other IT risk certification preferred.
  • Financial Services experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Strong customer/client focus with ability to manage expectations appropriately and provide superior customer/client experience and build long-term relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills.
  • Strong Project and Process Management skills.
  • Ability to interact with personnel at all levels across the organization including executive leadership and to comprehend business imperatives.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills.
  • Experience using the Archer tool, preferred.
