Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they're well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. The Master Data Team is responsible for maintaining the integrity of part CRUD (Create Read Update and Delete) by controlling the interchangeability of parts at the SKU level and all of the related attributes associated with the parts. Specifically, they translate OEM and Engineering documents into the MMS to ensure that the supply chain aligns with documents, allowing the supply chain to operate efficiently. The team is also responsible for the coordination of tasks to bring the supply chain into compliance with all changes. All this is done cross-functionally with the Inventory Planning, Procurement, Engineering, Distribution, Dangerous Goods, Aircraft Records, Warranty, Maintenance, Quality, Surplus Disposition, Inventory Analysis, Inventory Accounting, and Vendor Management teams. The Senior Analyst - Tech Ops Master Data is responsible for the same tasks and duties, but also supports the team through data analysis, task monitoring, performance reporting, and automation of certain transactional activities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the integrity of part CRUD (Create Read Update and Delete) by controlling the interchangeability of parts at the SKU level.
  • Translate OEM and Engineering documents into the MMS to ensure supply chain alignment with documents.
  • Coordinate tasks to bring the supply chain into compliance with all changes, working cross-functionally with various teams.
  • Work on Material Compliance, including ECRA dispositions and reporting progress for the team.
  • Create, maintain, and delete spare aircraft parts and consumable SKUs in compliance with Engineering Authorized Documents.
  • Ensure SKU interchangeability is set up in compliance with Engineering documents and supervise parts setups by other teams.
  • Partner with Engineering and dangerous goods professionals to ensure accurate hazardous material configuration in the MMS.
  • Connect with Distribution for timely parts purges and bin checks, supervising completion status.
  • Acquire post EA RSPLs, collect missing data, and communicate to Inventory Planning, driving and reporting completion.
  • Coordinate decision processes and criteria analysis for SKU resource code reclassification and supervise completion of activities.
  • Complete and supervise unit of issue changes, SKU number changes, and SKU combines.
  • Query and analyze data for the Master Data Team to create reports and support actions.
  • Conduct research regarding historical setups of SKUs and provide supplemental analytical support to Inventory Planning and Inventory Analysis departments.
  • Continue current automation techniques and design new macros for batch updates to the MMS.
  • Generate and maintain reporting mechanisms to monitor the progress of the Master Data Team.
  • Support harmonization activities of the United MMS systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 3 years in supply chain, logistics, engineering, or computer science.
  • Intermediate SQL knowledge.
  • Intermediate computer programming or macro scripting knowledge.
  • Sophisticated Excel skills (pivot tables) and Office suite power user.
  • Strong leadership and ability to communicate cross-functionally.
  • Able to read and understand engineering documents.
  • Internal customer service focused.
  • Comfortable working with large data sets and relational databases.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%.
