The Senior Analyst - Technical Privacy role at Datadog involves collaborating with engineering teams to develop and implement privacy engineering solutions. Responsibilities

• Set technical direction and formulate strategies for privacy engineering solutions.
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation related to privacy practices.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and safe solutions.
• Design and implement privacy by design architecture to address high-scale problems.
• Identify privacy risks and translate them into scalable controls for data management.
• Advocate for and clarify the benefits of various Privacy Enhancing Technologies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in engineering.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and product development frameworks.
• BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in software development, particularly with large-scale distributed systems or data engineering technologies.
• Passion for privacy and data protection.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with systems like Redis, Cassandra, Kafka at high scale.
• Experience writing data pipelines.
• Strong background in statistics.
• Significant experience with Go, C, or Python.
