About the position

The SAP Time Management Senior Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate time tracking and evaluation, payroll processing, and adherence to company policies. This position is integral to the operational efficiency of Hershey's HR functions, particularly in the areas of Absence Management and Time Evaluation. The analyst will work closely with end-users, managed services support teams, and business stakeholders to shape and drive daily operational tasks alongside project delivery plans. The role involves implementing, configuring, and supporting the SAP Time module to optimize processes, which is essential for the company's digital transformation journey. In this role, the analyst will leverage their deep understanding of SAP Time functionality and HR best practices to deliver successful projects. They will be instrumental in leading key stakeholders through Hershey's digital journey, utilizing their comprehensive knowledge across the SAP HCM Solution portfolio. The analyst will also be responsible for analyzing SAP production issues, defining sustainable solutions, and assisting users in defining new report requirements. Effective communication with stakeholders and support teams is vital, as is acting as an IT Business Partner to Functional Partners within the Finance and Frontline Operations functions. The position requires a strong technical understanding of multiple applications and complex systems, as well as expertise in various business processes. The analyst will create and execute test scenarios to ensure quality deliverables meet business requirements and will articulate requirements to technical teams using logical diagrams and use cases. Additionally, the analyst will work independently or as part of a global team to deliver SAP Time Management solutions and will lead training sessions related to attendance and absence management across Hershey's manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze SAP production issues and define sustainable solutions.
  • Assist users in defining new report requirements and act as a liaison between the US business and the global BI team.
  • Provide effective communication to stakeholders and support teams.
  • Act as an IT Business Partner to Functional Partners within the Finance (Payroll) and Frontline Operations functions.
  • Understand technical details, integration, and functions of multiple applications/complex systems.
  • Understand multiple complex business processes and serve as a subject matter expert.
  • Create and execute test scenarios to ensure the quality of deliverables meets business requirements.
  • Clearly articulate requirements to technical teams using logical diagrams, use cases, data samples, and anecdotes.
  • Work closely with global business partners on requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, implementation and troubleshooting of SAP positive and negative time tracking, absence management, forecasting and schedules, and labor activities.
  • Work independently or as part of a global team delivering SAP Time Management / SAP HXM solutions to our business partners.
  • Lead and conduct training in attendance and absence management across Hershey.

Requirements

  • More than 8 years of functional experience in SAP Time Management.
  • Experience working in Union and Non-Unionized manufacturing industry.
  • Business Process Mapping (As-Is and To-Be Processes).
  • Drafting Functional & Technical Specifications.
  • User Documentation Creation and Training Delivery.
  • Identifying and Analyzing Business Processes for Improvement.
  • Liaison Between Business Groups and Support teams.
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors and Indeavor (or other labor scheduling applications) is a plus.
  • Integration knowledge with ADP is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certified in SAP HCM is preferred.
