About the position

The Sr Analyst of Workforce Management (WFM) at BJ's Wholesale Club is responsible for managing labor planning, budgeting, and reporting for club operations. The position requires collaboration with various departments to understand staffing needs and operational goals, utilizing workforce management software for forecasting and scheduling, and generating reports to identify improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Utilize workforce management software to forecast workload, schedule staff, and monitor real-time service levels.
• Analyze historical data and industry trends to develop accurate staffing forecasts.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing requirements and operational goals.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize workforce efficiency while maintaining service level agreements.
• Generate regular reports and analysis on workforce metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements in workforce management.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends effectively.
• Previous Budgeting/Planning or Workforce Management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
