About the position

The Senior Analytic Data Analyst position at enGen is a critical role that focuses on understanding healthcare data from end-to-end. The incumbent will analyze both raw and analytic data for the enterprise, ensuring that data is cleansed, validated, audited, and compared across various sources. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes and industry domain knowledge, as the analyst will collaborate with engineering and business teams to define requirements and achieve desired outcomes. The analyst will be responsible for delivering data profiling, conducting testing, and validating systems to troubleshoot any data anomalies that may arise. Additionally, the role involves monitoring data management metrics and overseeing data loads to ensure quality and accuracy. The Senior Analytic Data Analyst will work closely with data quality teams to ensure that the business alignment and analytic value of derived data are met. This position also includes providing guidance and education to Associate and Intermediate staff, fostering a collaborative environment. Customer relationship management is another key responsibility, as the analyst will manage relationships with stakeholders and ensure that their needs are met through effective data analysis and reporting. In summary, this role is essential for maintaining the integrity and quality of data used for analytics within the healthcare sector, and it requires a combination of technical skills, analytical thinking, and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Verify analytic data for the enterprise by conducting end-to-end analysis of data, including cleansing, validating, auditing, and comparing data from various sources.
  • Confirm the accuracy of new data sources used by the analytic entities of the enterprise, including testing of source data and interconnections to internal sources.
  • Routinely monitor data sources used for analytics to ensure continued updates meet quality standards.
  • Drive functional efforts for programs across specific projects, providing guidance and education to Intermediate and Associate contributors.
  • Manage relationships with customers regarding the function or domain of analytics.
  • Solicit requirements from key stakeholders leveraging expert knowledge.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems Analysis, Data Processing, Healthcare Informatics, Management Information Systems or closely related discipline.
  • 5 - 7 years of Business Analyst Experience, or 5 - 7 years of Data Analytics Experience, or 5 - 7 years of Healthcare Industry Experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Management Information Systems or Healthcare Informatics.
  • 5 - 7 years of Data Warehousing Experience.
