About the position

As a Senior Analytics Engineer at CLEAR, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing MarTech products that enhance the digital identity experience for our members. This position focuses on building scalable data systems, developing data pipelines, and driving technical innovation to ensure seamless integration of marketing technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Build a scalable data system for Analysts and Engineers to self-service changes in an automated, tested, secure, and high-quality manner.
  • Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to collect, clean, and transform data, owning the end-to-end data product from ingestion to visualization.
  • Develop and implement data analytics models.
  • Partner with product and other stakeholders to uncover requirements, innovate, and solve complex problems.
  • Take ownership of architectural decision-making and strive for continuous improvement in technology and processes.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of data engineering experience.
  • Experience with cloud-based application development, fluent in cloud services providers like AWS.
  • Proficient in data pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or Luigi.
  • Experience with big data tools such as Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, or Databricks.
  • Familiarity with collaboration, integration, and deployment tools like Github, Argo, and Jenkins.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Looker or Tableau.
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in collaborating and mentoring less experienced team members.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a curiosity about technology.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with dbt for data transformation.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
