About the position
CreditAssociates is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our Corporate Reporting and Analytics team. This role is crucial for creating and maintaining data pipeline architectures, solving complex business problems, and ensuring data is prepared for visualization and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics and a passion for building data workflows.
Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains data pipeline architectures to meet continuing needs of stakeholders
- Solves novel and complex business problems with high quality maintainable code
- Ensures data is prepared for easy visualization and reporting
- Gathers data from a variety of sources
- Expresses complex, technical topics to management, peers, and others who may not possess a strong data background
- Designs, develops, and maintains scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, and other tools to support stakeholders' needs
- Advocates for leading data practices and ensures business users make data-driven decisions
- Provides high quality documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business analytics, business information systems, or similar
- 5+ years professional work experience in the data space
- Practical experience with SQL (preferably MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL), data modeling/data warehousing, and Python
- Practical experience with visualization libraries and tools such as matplotlib, Plotly, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and/or Superset
- Basic understanding of predictive analytics, statistical modeling, and data mining
- Understanding of cloud-based technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

- Salesforce and/or marketing experience is preferred, but not required
