About the position

The Senior Android Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining native mobile applications for Android platforms. This role requires extensive experience in Android development, particularly with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, and involves collaboration with designers and UX experts to create exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mobile app design patterns and be proficient in integrating APIs and third-party libraries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Collaborate with designers and UX experts to create user-friendly interfaces.
• Build and maintain Android libraries via Gradle/Maven.
• Implement unit and automated testing using Espresso UI Automation.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party libraries into applications.
• Utilize version control systems like Git for code management.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
• Work within Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as an Android Developer.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with mobile app design patterns such as MVC, MVP, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
• Familiarity with unit and Android testing methodologies.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of CI/CD principles.
• Good understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• Familiarity with Bluetooth, BT Profiles, and OAuth 2.0.
• Experience with Test-driven development and agile processes.
