About the position

As a Senior Android Developer at YinzCam, you will play a crucial role in the development of mobile applications and UI-heavy features on the Android platform. This position requires a proactive approach, as you will be expected to make a significant impact on the platform and products shortly after joining. Your responsibilities will include leading the native development of mobile apps, integrating third-party SDKs, and working with backend APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the native development of mobile apps on the Android platform.
• Develop mobile UI-heavy features for Android applications.
• Integrate multiple third-party SDKs into the applications.
• Interface with data from backend APIs.
• Translate design mockups into production-quality Android app interfaces.

Requirements

• 4+ years of industry experience with Android native application development, including memory management and process lifecycle.
• 4+ years of industry experience in Java development.
• 4+ years of industry experience in Object-Oriented Programming, Kotlin, Java, and Git.
• 4+ years of experience in consuming RESTful APIs and interfacing with backend services, including familiarity with JSON, REST, and XML.
• 4+ years of industry experience translating design mockups into functioning Android app interfaces.
• 4+ years of industry experience in integrating third-party SDKs and APIs.
• 4+ years of industry experience in building Android products for a wide range of devices.
• Portfolio of published apps in the Google Play Store.
• Willingness and ability to work non-traditional hours of the sports industry.
