About the position

The Senior Android Engineer will lead the development of a popular food service delivery company's Android application, focusing on delivering innovative features that enhance user experience and drive customer satisfaction. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior developers while contributing to the strategic direction of the mobile platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the Android application.
• Deliver innovative features that enhance user experience.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers.
• Mentor junior developers and advocate for best practices.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the mobile platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Android development.
• Experience with API Design.
• Experience programming with Kotlin and/or Java.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with Android Studio.
• Experience with REST - JSON.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of UX guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with commercial software.
• Experience building out Native mobile enterprise applications.
• Experience with UI testing.
