About The Position

The Monetization client team plays a crucial role in delivering innovative ad products on TikTok, including content ads, new ad formats, vertical solutions, and creator monetization business accounts. This team works closely with product teams to create a seamless experience for advertisers to promote their products on TikTok while ensuring a positive user experience. The focus is on developing ads products that not only support innovative features but also prioritize user satisfaction. As a Senior Android Software Engineer on the Monetization client team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing novel monetization features within the mobile application. This role requires collaboration with design and product teams to create a world-class ads experience. You will analyze and optimize Android applications for efficiency and performance, ensuring the stability and performance of ads products. The position demands a commitment to promoting robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and delivering high-quality work within tight schedules. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in native Android development, particularly with Kotlin, and will be passionate about building consumer-facing products. You will be expected to understand and debug large and complex code bases while maintaining good communication and collaboration skills within the team.
