About the position

The Senior Angular Developer with Java Node role at DS Technologies Inc involves supporting the Social Security Administration (SSA) by designing, building, and maintaining advanced applications. This hybrid position requires a strong background in software development, particularly with Angular and Java/Spring Boot technologies, and emphasizes collaboration within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain applications using Angular 9+, Node, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Develop front-end components with Angular 8+, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and either YUI or JQuery.
• Build database components using PostgreSQL or Oracle, ensuring alignment with backend services.
• Develop Microservices and REST API, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
• Work in an Agile environment, participating in daily scrum meetings and providing regular updates.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth integration and deployment using modern tools.
• Maintain strong communication with the team and provide technical guidance when needed.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Hands-on expertise with Angular 9+, TypeScript, Node, Java, Spring Boot, and REST API.
• Strong front-end development skills with Angular 8+, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, YUI/JQuery.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL/Oracle databases, Hibernate, JPA, and JDBC.
• Experience in developing Microservices and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile tools (VersionOne/JIRA) and experience working in Agile environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Public Trust clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with modern development tools: Jenkins, Git/BitBucket, Nexus, Maven, OpenShift, BDD, AWS (S3).
• Proficiency in Linux environments and DevOps methodologies.
