About the position

The Senior Angular UI Developer at Kforce Inc is responsible for developing applications primarily using Angular as the frontend framework. This role involves collaborating with investment professionals to create efficient and scalable technical solutions, utilizing a variety of programming tools and languages, including Python, SQL, and Microsoft Power Platform. The developer will also engage in problem-solving and prioritizing requests effectively while contributing to the investment process and learning new technologies and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Angular as the primary frontend framework for UI.
• Work with Microsoft Suite of tools, including programming with Excel VBA.
• Develop applications using Python, SQL, and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Collaborate with investment professionals to develop creative technical solutions.
• Break down complex business problems into efficient and scalable solutions.
• Respond to various requests and prioritize them effectively.
• Negotiate a balance between optimal and practical solutions.
• Learn new technologies, business workflows, concepts, and processes.
• Act as a trusted technical partner, collaborating closely with end users to understand business needs.
• Bring curiosity and a questioning mindset to work.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
• Over six years of professional experience in software development.
• Experience developing applications using Angular as the primary frontend framework.
• Solid grasp of rapid development approaches and enterprise capabilities.
• Versatile in working alongside investment professionals and developing creative solutions.
• Experience in solving sophisticated business problems with scalable solutions.
• Excellent active listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite of tools, including programming with Excel VBA (preferred).
• Exposure to developing applications using Python, SQL, and Microsoft Power Platform (a plus).
