About the position

The Senior Application Developer position within the Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) is responsible for performing complex professional and advisory functions in Application Development Services. This role involves developing and maintaining complex applications using web-based analysis and design methodologies, particularly utilizing .NET and Visual Basic JEE stack. The position also includes conducting in-depth technical research and systems analysis for the Children eCornerstone program and providing guidance and training to lower-level professional staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex applications using .NET and Visual Basic JEE stack.
• Conduct in-depth studies involving substantial technical research and systems analysis.
• Provide analysis to DHS program and/or DoIT/DHS management for system development and maintenance.
• Serve as project leader, providing guidance, training, and direction to lower-level professional staff.

Requirements

• Experience in application development using .NET and Visual Basic JEE stack.
• Strong knowledge of web-based analysis and design methodologies.
• Ability to conduct technical research and systems analysis.
• Experience in providing guidance and training to junior staff.
